City and county schools, The Shelby County Courthouse, The University of Memphis, and the 14,000+ acre Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park are just a few examples of government-owned properties available to filmmakers - with no location fee charged. Use of city and county-owned facilities is coordinated by The Commission. Filming at state facilities is coordinated by The Tennessee Film and Music Commission with the assistance of local state officials.
